Hooray~ They still remember me!
Except my wall has more exclamation marks than normal walls <3
I want my old room back!
Old memories...
After two years,
when I look back,
I still love this place much better than fan house...
meh... sigh...
It's been more than two months now,
and I've been lost for two months...
Now I just realized, it's called withdrawing.
I am still withdrawing from being with you too much!
Less than a week and you are coming to visit me.
Am I going to be happy?
........or falling apart?
Dear sisi and osamu, thank you so much for the very generous gift of the iron! i actually lost mine since i left blacksburg and have been without one for a whole year! now i can iron clothes again, hooray :)
I'm so excited that you 2 can make it to the wedding as a couple <3 i better see you guys dancing on the floor - i'm depending on the couples to get the party started!
Gosh I can't wait to see everyone!!!
All I need is a hand to hold, a shoulder to lean, arms to hug, lips to kiss, and a voice to say...
"I will be here for you."
Much better than firework,
...LOVE
make a promise that we will be together forever, with this smile lets walk togetheri will keep the promise to be with you because of the miracle that i met you who is the prettiest of all 6000000000 ppl6000000000 is 6 billion. its the number of ppl in the worldand pointing out that person is the one person in his life out of the 6 billion ppl
How I wish I can have a drink in the morning...
One thunder and my apartment's power was out for a bit.
Ten tries and my car finally started yesterday morning.
Another ten tries to start my car yesterday after work.
Zero try to start my car after the Y last night...
so I thought it was fine...
The number of tries to start my car this morning... countless.
Then there's my mom, left her wallet in my purse when we went shopping last weekend.
I totally forgot to take it out before I left Richmond.
The only time we forgot about her wallet... she needs it the most!
Next Monday is her citizenship test thing, and she needs her green card...
I went to the closest post office that I found (Erik found the same one for me too).
It's shut down for good...
Now I can only drive to a post office, but my car is not starting...
Where is AAA people? Sigh.
Basically my car needed a new battery, at least that's what we thought.
I stopped in front of a red light on my way to play golf...
The car stopped working AGAIN!
Two people helped me pushed it to the side way.
I called AAA again, the guy said that everything worked just fine...
While driving on the high way, I was so scared that it would stop again, and that won't be fun.
Then I went to the Honda dealership, they said it's fine too!
I think the guy thought that I was making up a story or something...
It's not April fool yet! Or... is it?
I don't think it's Friday the 13th either, but Yukki got a flat tire this morning...
By the way,
I brought "first class" stamp because I thought since there's no price on the stamp, it's "forever".
But it's not... the only "forever stamp" is the one with a bell on it.
So I got my rejected mail this morning, even though the post mark is... June 2nd.
Half month later they told me that I need 3 more cents!
3 cents... I don't even know how much I paid for the first class stamp,
which only has "first class" written on its face.
Next time when I buy stamps in a supermarket, I need to insist that I need the "bell stamp".
Lesson learned. I think I am going to pass out now.
No golf, no putt putt, no dinner, just a nap.
Where's my vocation?
So why don't I get drunk that easily?
Is it really because I have a good tolerance?
or is it because deep inside, I still like to keep my consciousness, no matter what?
Housing Notice: Update on Housing Overage for Fall Semester
Why is on-campus housing so crowded?
Basically, the popularity of Virginia Tech increased and around 400 more incoming freshmen accepted their offers of admission than we had predicted based on the acceptance rate from previous years. Each year, housing expects to open with some returning students in temporary housing since a number of students do not show up and forget to let our office know; however, this year's additional freshman class size is significantly larger than normal.
Conclusion: That's why they need to hire actuaries cause every single year there are more students being accepted than what they predicted! Maybe I can get a part time job at Tech just to predict this! haha~
So about my internship. Lynchburg was never the first choice for me. When I googled Lynchburg... There's only one mall in Lynchburg without the stores that I like. Bummer.
Turns out that Lynchburg is not that bad, and my internship is AWESOME! Everyone is so friendly and happy. At first I thought that I was going to eat in my little cubic everyday, but it's totally not like that. We have lunch together as a group, and we always have something to laugh about. Time passes so fast everyday that I don't even want to leave after 5! There's always something to keep me busy. The project that I am doing isn't tedious but challenging. Not only I learned a lot about universal life, but programming too. I didn't know what a macro was before my internship. Now I wrote my own vbscript, and am going to learn HTA. Fun fun~
I am busy doing stuff after work too. Believe it or not, I actually started learning how to cook. I cannot cook fancy stuff yet, but cooking at least once per week is a good start. I will post some pictures later I guess. Other than that, I have lots of dramas that I need to catch up with, and I brought my study manual for the next actuarial exam: MLF. Haven't worked on the study part that much yet. It's summer after all...
Yukki and I went to watch Sex and the City movie two weeks ago. I actually like it a lot that I brought the whole series. We cooked kimchi fried rice and hot chicken wing one night, and watched 6 episodes afterwards! Then last weekend, me and some co-workers went to Friday Cheers for some beer, and Cattle Annies for some dancing. Gosh I miss dancing/clubbing! I'm sure there will be more during the summer. Last night Gary and I went to watch Kongfu Panda. It made me laugh out loud. The roundness of panda is one of the reason why I love it so much \(^-^)/. And today I went to YMCA the first time in my life to do cycling. It was so intense... I have big purple bruises on both of my knees. Now how am I going to wear short skirts during the weekend, the only time I get to wear whatever I want? *sigh* I think I like swimming better. Then again this is an excuse because I am too lazy to go swimming anyways.
Here's the plan for next few weekends: going back to Richmond for some fun this weekend; going to Tech and then NOVA for ashulee's 21st birthday next weekend; going back to Richmond again for company cook out the weekend after that; and then it's 4th of July of course.
Life is goooooooooooood!
