So what have I been doing after my Internship? Well...

• I got into the actuarial program, and I am going to start working on January.
• I am also studying my ass off for my MLC exam.
• Learning Japanese is not as hard as I thought it would be.
• Math modeling seminar is not as easy as I thought it would be...
• Cryptography is a fun class, except my English decrypting ability is not that great... (give me Chinese!)
• We are going to read Becoming Jane Austen, I Am Legend, and The Road for reading group, and we are going to watch those movies at the Lyric during Sunday midnights... Horay for free entrance and free popcorn!
• I am thinking about getting a DSLR... HD TV, PS3, GPS, IPOD, etc... after I get a car... >_<''
• Plus a trip to somewhere at some point...

Ok, I lied. I said that I would try not to spend one more penny during this break... Well... that's just not practical, isn't it? Now I need to pay over 2000 dollars for credit card bills this month. New record! Yayyy~ I am just a tiny little bit numb about money... Ok, this is a lie too.

It's no big deal. I will just work more, play less! ... Ri~ght.

I found this article from Msn's homepage. It was quite interesting. I like Bill Nye's sense of humor. It makes me reading through the whole thing without skimming. If you are bored, you should go to his homepage and take a look. This reminds me about my science classes during high school. I was good at those subjects ya know. ^_~

Speaking of work, I am supposed to give this newbie a jobsite tour this afternoon. My boss gave me newbie's resume yesterday and told me to do that. This is my first time handling a resume... Not handing in resumes to other people! I am having a mixed feeling of accomplishment, excitement, and anxiousness. Yayy for not being a newbie anymore after working here for 2 summers and 3 winters. Then again, what should I tell him other than introducing him to people? I have no clue...

By the way, his name is Adam, and he's a sophomore at Tech! (I feel old...) Another Hokie in the office this summer. I think my boss has too much hokie pride sometimes, which is a good thing besides. Well, all in all, it's going to be interesting. Don't ya think? =)

Update: 4pm

So I gave Adam a tour. He still looks like a high school kid... Gosh I feel old. >..<

Anyhow, I guess giving a tour is not that hard. I learned one thing after all. That is: I won't like working at a consulting firm that much. If I get nervous giving a simple tour, and I couldn't give a nice casual conversation, then I won't do well at a consulting firm. Good thing I didn't get M's internship. Yup yup.

Update: 4:30pm

Another thing that I learned today is... come here to find a vacation deal. (several hundred dollars' difference per person...) Too late for our Disney trip. But I am sure we will have a grand time either way! =) 

OH! and Happy Belated New Year!!! XD

I play with fire.

Eating a bowl of spicy chili with an empty stomach for four days straight is not a smart idea. Never again! Unless... there will be another cute t-shirt as a reward. But next time I want a size small dammit! (Yea... the guy was like: "do you want a median, large, or extra large?" Do I look like a XL to you?? T_T)

On the way to D2 (that's where chili challenge was held), I was thinking about how much stuff I need to do once again. Literally, I was either working, studying, doing homework, or sleeping this week. It's like nap is the only thing that can make my day brighter. Now since panda's gone to DC for his field trip, I realized that even thought we were together all the time, I haven't really "looked at him and only him for a while". I want to cuddle with him like what we always do, but without thinking or worrying about anything else. Right now I feel like I am so selfish because I only think about my own stuff. He cares about me so much that it's just not fair to him. When can I do more for him? Sigh. Maybe... after the actuarial exam on Nov. 7th? That's such an excuse and b.s.! Gah I hate my selfishness!!

Christie titi this morning: "BOOOO. we're in harper. this bites."

Yup, we finally got our housing assignment this morning, and we ended up getting Harper! That sucks for a lazy bum like me because everything seems so far away. Except... west end and math empo? (>_<) At least Laura and Sara got Harper too. They are going to be our suite mates, but we still don't know who else are going to live with us, since there are three rooms in this suite. Can't believe it's Harper. Well, I guess it's more "famous" than Payne thanks to Cho Seung-Hui. As christie titi said, think positive. The bus stop is right next to Harper. I think I am going to either take Hokie Express to class, or simply skip classes for the day. It's closer to deets than Johnson, so that when panda works, i will be right next to him. It has ac and walk in closet. Plus according to christie titi, "there is a parking lot for the car so we can go out to apartments and party every week" :p. Ooo, and panda said that he will always walk me back! yayy~ \(^_^)/

As I said few posts before, I was getting a game called Gurumin from Yesasia.com. It said that it's going to be shipped in 7 business days. Then they added another 7 days. Yesterday I got an email saying that I won't be able to get it until August 23rd! What the...?! That means I have to wait 4+ months to get this game. So I told them that I wanna canceled the order. Now the product page says that "this product is temporarily out of stock". Why didn't they just honestly tell me at the beginning? Today I got an email saying that "an extensive search we have found that the item is not available at this time". They lied to me before saying "according to the latest update from the supplier, the item is expected to be available for shipment in the following 5 to 7 business days." They didn't even say a "sorry" to me. They just said that the charge will be $0 now. What kind of service is this??! &$%*@$  Yet I still want to play this game, so I reordered it from play-asia.com. Hopefully I will get it soon! *Crossing finger*

Now panda chan is downloading another anime for me to watch because I can't use BT at home. (Don't ask me why, I just can't ><'') It's called "Makai Senki Disgaea". I knew this artist since I was at middle school. This anime is based on a game called Disgaea. I heard it's a good game. Wish someone has it so that I can play it... ahahahahaha. Can't wait to watch this cute anime. I am pretty sure it won't be a weird one! ^_^

There's so much to write about that I am simply too lazy to write down all the details here... I had my birthday; Panda was back from Japan; my family and I moved to the "new old house"; there was no a.c. in the beginning, but we fixed that; I am getting really tired that I've skipped three kendo practice in a roll (ok, maybe that's an excuse... whatever :p); I had a "little bit" shopping to get ready for school; I play a free online game named Trickster; today is my last day of work; and most importantly, I am damn ready to go back to Tech! XD
